How to Send Bulk Messages via WhatsApp API?
Follow the steps below to begin the process:
- Start by accessing the page where you'll obtain the Facebook Business API.
- Navigate to the bottom of the left-hand menu, locate the "Business Details" section, and click on the "Edit" button.
- Fill in the required information accurately, ensuring that your business name matches what's on your website and that the phone number matches the one on your website. Enter your city and state/province accordingly. Once done, click on the "Save" button.
- Enter the channel through which you want to send bulk messages.
- To send messages, you need to create a template message and get it approved by WhatsApp. Let's proceed by clicking on the "Create New Template" button.
- When creating the template message:
- Ensure the template name doesn't contain Turkish characters.
- Choose the most suitable category.
- Select the language for the message.
- Within the message template:
- The title is the most prominent part of the message, limited to 60 characters.
- The body is where the main message text goes, up to 1024 characters.
- Variables can be used to personalize messages based on additional data available in the customer group.
- After creating the template message, ensure it's approved by WhatsApp. If it's approved, it will show as below:
- Once your customer group is ready, proceed with the following steps to send bulk messages:
- Select the group you want to send the message to.
- Choose the approved template message.
- Schedule the message if necessary.
- Click on the "Send" button to proceed with sending the message.
