Chat Menu: Sending Private Messages and Transferring Chats

Directing to Another Representative

When there's a topic you're unfamiliar with or a situation related to your availability while talking to your customers, you can transfer the chat to another representative who is available. This allows you to step out while the conversation continues with another representative. Follow these steps to transfer the chat to another representative:

First, let's navigate to our chat menu.

Then, enter an active chat and click on the settings icon within the chat.

Click on the "redirect" button in the opened section.

On the opened page, by clicking the "redirect the conversation" button, you can transfer the chat to the specified online representative.

Sending Private Messages

By sending a private message, you can ensure that the user you are talking to does not see the messages you send while also allowing you to send messages to your representative on the chat. The person you are talking to will not see these messages. Follow these steps to send a private message:

First, let's enter the chat menu.

Then, click on the settings icon within the chat to click on the "Private Message" button.

Type the message you want to send and click on "send message".

Your message will appear as shown in the picture.
